Denver baby...

Nick and I dropped the kiddies off at the grandparents this last weekend and headed to Denver to go to the Broncos game. In our planning for the weekend we found out that there was a Six Flags right next to the stadium. I have always wanted to go so we decided to try it out. Here we are after the almost eight hour drive and a not so well rested night sleep, we had some drunken guy banging on the wall outside our hotel room in the middle of the night, and a slightly large breakfast. Ready for a fun filled day at Elich Gardens Six Flags.
Nick's not a super fan of spinney rides so in preparation I brought some Dramamine for him but none the less this was him, totally sick and almost throwing up I don't know how many times, I guess the same amount as however many rides we went on. Poor guy. He was such a sport though he seriously went on all the big rides with me but one and that one for sure would have done him in. I on the other hand thought it was awesome and was psyched we got to go.
The next day was the big game and Nick was so excited.
Our seats were awesome. Eighth row and 5th yard line. It was really awesome to be that close to the game. It made it that much more fun.

They were doing this whole tribute to Shannon Sharp and inducting him into the ring of fame so he totally sky dived into the stadium it was sweet. The pros that came in with him were going so dang fast as they came into the stadium at first I thought they were going to crash and then they would just land smoothly it was crazy.

Shannon.
Of coarse the cheerleaders. There were some right in front of us the whole game and they were seriously scandalous.
The team coming out of the mustang.
We were so close to the game I took some actions shots here's all I came up with.
This was caught by the wrong person and was almost an interception but the guy was out of bounds. At half time they did the whole Shannon Sharp tribute thing, and John freakin' Elway was there! It was awesome. He walked right in front of us. Talk about cool. The Broncos played a great game. It was so exciting we were jumping out of our seats almost all game. Football games are way way WAY more exciting in person than they are on TV. Seriously people. I would go again in a second. Nick had an amazing time and I was so happy I could do this for him. He even said he could now cross this of his life list. Definitely the best birthday present I have ever given. Crap now what am I going to get him next year to live up to all this hype?

P.S. We came the other way home, through the Rockies and went through a for real snow storm! It was crazy, but pretty.

Happy Birthday to Aiden...

Oh my goodness I can not believe I am the mother of a 4 year old! It's crazy how fast time flies by. Aidens Birthday was Wed the 16th and he had been looking forward to it for ever it feels like. And I totally think it lived up to the hype! He seriously had an awesome day and party! Looking through these pictures you might notice a slight theme let's see if you can guess....Honestly how adorable are these two? I feel like I never get pictures of them together, I love this one!
Well did you guess? What can I say he's a tiny bit obsessed. Oh well. The funny part is Nick got him a present that he said was for Aiden and him and he let him open it that morning right when he woke up. It was the original first season of the Transformers from when Nick was a kid. Aiden made us watch it on all day non stop. And when Nick got home from work he wanted to watch it too. I still can't get that song out of my head,
"Transformers more than meets the eye, Transformers robots in disguise."
Anyways it was so nice of everyone to come that could, I know it meant a lot to Aiden to have his family and some of his best buddies there.

Pssssst....

Shhhhhhhhhhh....... Guess what? Don't tell anyone but I just shaved, yes shaved my husbands head. I kinda can't believe I did it. I have never shaved any ones head before. Good news is he totally pulls it off. I'm not gonna lie I was a little scared for a minute. I'm sure I'll have a picture for Aidens Birthday.

Check out Miss Thing...

KateLyn is turning into my Diva girl before my eyes. Loves the glasses and checking herself out in the mirror. Loves the purse and hauls it all over the house. Loves the empty makeup case inside the purse and pretending to put it on her and me. She's adorable and I love her to pieces.

Also...
I made my first attempt in my life to make bread. Silly I know because I am married to a man that has every kind of super good and amazing flour at his disposal and can bring me whatever I want whenever I want. I am starting easy with banana bread and it was a success! Nick did not think it was as cool as I did but I was proud of myself because it was delicious. Hopefully more to come so any great bread recipes? Bring it on.

For my sister...

Jessica recently brought it to my attention that I am a total and complete slacker when it comes to my blogging lately and honestly all I can say is, hey I've been busy. She did however guilt me into getting all the unposted pics on my camera and posting them for your viewing pleasure. All I have is this super fun day when Mckell, Bridget and their kids came over for a water day. We have had more of these since this day and they have all been awesome. KateLyn is not in there pics because she was all played out and taking a nap by the time I got my camera out.
These guys have so much fun together and I love that they are friends!

It took these guys awhile to get the hang of the whole slip and slide thing but by the end they were pros.

Is this picture inappropriate? I Just think it's so hilarious!
Last but not least I found these two just playing under the table together, so cute!
So I hope this is good cause I'm sorry it's all I have. I'll try and work on it better in the future Jess and If I slack again just make sure and get me back online!

Happy Birthday to Nick...

For those of you who don't know it was Nicks Birthday last friday. No I did not forget I am just a slacker blogger and we went camping in Ephriam for the weekend and didn't get back until really late Monday night. Nick loves that area of Utah, both his parents are from down there and he has so many great memories hunting and camping in those mountains. He has been dying to take the trailer and go there for a long weekend. So Courtney talked Nick into going bow hunting for an elk and off we went. We had a great time hanging out with Court, jill and their cute girls. Patti came on Sunday and we all stayed together in the trailer. The only bad part was that Aiden and Olivia were not feeling 100% and spent a lot of time in the bathroom, poor kiddies! In fact Aiden is still not feeling that great to this day. But we all survived and had a blast for Nick big 27! Happy Birthday a little late babe!
P.S. For those of you who are wondering what present I got Nick for his big day, I'll tell you because it is an awesome one. I got Nick tickets to his favorite team the Denver Broncos at Mile High Stadium! He has always wanted to go, so we are taking a weekend and running away. I have to admit I am a liitle excited too. I think it will be tons of fun, but the game isn't until Sept 20 so we will both have to wait. Thanks in advance to my parents and Patti for agreeing to watch the littles while we are gone!

He's here...

I am happy to announce that I am a new aunt once again! Yesterday at around 6 pm a handsome little man named Evan David Kopp was born and I couldn't be happier for Jess and her family. He weighed 7.13 wich for our family is tiny! Seriously like a whole pound less than her or my smallest kid! That's kind of a lot! I was so excited for them I had to go to the hospital right away! We didn't get there until about 8 and could only stay for about and hour but it was totally worth the drive! He is so stinking cute! Definately one good looking little guy. I don't have a picture yet which I am totally sad about I'm sure I'll get one soon enough. Just wanted to tell the Kopps Congrats and I can't wait to hold him again as soon as possible.
