Lake Powell

We went to Lake Powell with The Wilson Family last Tues. and we got home really late on Sunday. They decided to get a house boat this year so we were able to go with two little kids and we had a blast. We had some interesting things happen along the way, like a mini tornado and a trip with patti to the clinic, but all in all everything was great and it was nice to spend time with family, having a good time.

Aiden helping G'pa Wilson drive the house boat.

Nick and Aiden having a little father son fishing time.

KateLyn helping Daddy drive the house boat.

This is how KateLyn spent most of the trip. She was so awesome the entire trip. We are so lucky to have such great baby!

Patti had a slight accident when she was wakeboarding. Eveyone thought she had broken her arm for sure. They took her to the clinic on Sat and they didn't have a x-ray so they just wrapped her up good and told her to go to the doctor when she got home. Luckily it turns out that her arm is not broken it's just bruised from elbow to wrist and just broke a bunch of blood vessils. We're all glad that you're okay patti!

Aiden caught this fish all by himself! Nick was fishing and he put his pole down to go do something, so aiden picked it up and started reeling it in, after a minute the line started pulling and sure enough there was a little catfish on the end! What a fisherman.

Olivia and Aiden had a good time playing with their floaties! They both also learned to swim all by themselves with their life jackets. They are getting so big.
We seriously had an amazing time, it is so beautiful there. Nick has been a million times and truely loves it, this was only my 3rd time but every time I go I can see more and more why he loves it so much. Thanks again for everything guys, can't wait for next year.

Camping and more camping...

Lately we have been hitching up the Golden Falcon and taking a few camping trips. Every time we go I realize that I like it more and more and it's such a fun thing to do together as a family.

We went up Logan Canyon one weekend just by ourselves and we were thinking we had a sweet set up.

Aiden was spotting some deer with his "spotting scope" it was super cute.

We went up to the Uintas with the Daniels one weekend, they have a lot of land up there and they let us go up with them. It was super fun, they have this little 4 wheeler that Aiden thought was amazing. The Daniels have three cute girls that are a bit older that Aiden and the oldest took turns taking Aiden and their youngest (who's a year older that Aiden) on rides. The last day the turned the governor way down so it couldn't go very fast and Aiden rode it all by himself! He was in heaven. Nick only had to really run after him one time.

This is Aiden and Carly whom he adores! He wouldn't leave her alone the entire trip!

Our camp site. It was super fun thanks for inviting us guys!

Happy Girl

KateLyn has been smiling for the past couple of weeks but I have been having such a hard time trying to catch it on my camera! These are the best I have so far, I will keep working on it! Everytime she smiles I melt, she's such a doll!

Blessings

The blessing day went perfectly. Nick gave Katelyn a beautiful blessing! It was so special! KateLyn was an perfect little girl all day and she looked so beautiful in her dress! She's so precious and such a little angel! She really is the best baby! Nick and I have lucked out! I can't believe how well tempered she is! We are so very blessed to have her in our lives and our home. The lunch was delicious, thank you to everyone who chipped in and the weather even cooperated!

Thanks to everyone who came to share KateLyns special day with us, espceially because everyone had to travel to make it!
We really appreciated all the love and support that we felt.

St George

A couple of weeks ago we decided to take a last minute trip to St George and it was so much fun! I didn't take as many pictures as I wanted to but I have decided that it's harder to take a lot of pictures while holding a baby or chasing a 2 year old! We spent a lot of time by the pool and the hotel we chose was awesome because the pool was half indoors (and air conditioned) and half outdoors so it worked out perfect considering that it was like 110 degrees during the day!

It was so nice at night Aiden and Nick would swim and KateLyn and I chilled by the pool!

Aren't they cute? I put KateLyn in her swimming suit but she just slept the whole time we were at the pool so I never put her in, I don't think she minded!
We spent most of our time at the pool but we also went shopping and one day we took a trip to Vegas to let Aiden go to The Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay and the lion exhibit at MGM. We also went to the M&M factory and the Coke factory. It was a lot of fun. I was a little worried at first how KateLyn was going to do on the trip but she was an all star! Aiden was too! I told Nick we need to take advantage and go on as many trips as we can while they are both being such awesome travelers!

Blessing Day

I have been slightly slacking in the blogging department lately and I will soon catch up I swear, but I just wanted to post a quick note that we are blessing our little KateLyn this sunday the 6th at our church in Nibley. Our church is at 9 and sacrament meeting is first, I know that is kinda early but if any one wants to come they are more than welcome and we will also be having a small lunch after our meetings at around 12:30. Just let me know if you want to come, the more the merrier.
