First bath

She really didn't mind the bath at all, even though her eyes were closed like the whole time.
She just got a little ticked when she got cold, who could blame her!
She was loving being wrapped up in her towel afterward though. Her eyes even opened, and that's rare when a camera is around!

Aiden and KateLyn

Aiden really loves his new baby sister, even though sometimes he calls her baby molly! Innocent mistake! He loves to hold her and give her kisses.
He's also a really great helper! He loves to get diapers, blankets and help her put her binky back in when it falls out.

She's Here!

Introducing: KateLyn Anne Wilson (aka baby girl)

She was born on May 12, 2008 at 6:27 pm. She weighs 8.98 and is 21 inches long. And that's a week early! I can't imagine how big she would have been if she was a week late like Aiden! Everything went really well and the labor was surprisingly easy and fast. She is healthy and happy! She's such a doll, and we couldn't be happier!

It's scheduled

So I went to the doctor this morning for my 38 week appointment and she went ahead and scheduled me to be induced next Mon, May 12th! So watch out here comes baby girl! That's so crazy to me. Man has this thing flown by. I am already dilated, and have been for a few weeks, and she says it should be super easy, let's hope she's right. She also doesn't think she will be as big as Aiden which for those of you who don't know he weighed 9.4 when he was born. So anything smaller than that would just be awesome. Also just a funny thing, when I was at my appointment they take your blood pressure every time and I have always had really really good blood pressure. Last week it was high and about 4 weeks ago it was high two weeks in a row and it just dawned on me today that when it has been high have been the weeks that I have had to take Aiden to my appointments with me. I swear It was drastically lower today when he was not with me than last week when he was. I told the nurse and her and my doctor thought it was hilarious. Do you hear that Aiden you're giving mommy high blood pressure! Knock it off! So anyways, next week it is. I asked Nick if there's anything he wants to do this week so we can do it because next week we will have two kids. Wish me luck.

Those curly locks...

Nick and I have been growing Aidens hair out just to see what it would look like because, like his daddy, he has some curly, curly hair. I mostly think it's hilarious. Some days I like it and other days it drives me a little crazy.

I seriously just get him out of the tub and it just goes like this.

As it was growing out I decided that there was nothing I could do with it so I bought him this hat. I think he looks adorable. At first he wasn't loving it. But once I pointed out to him that he could be a cool guy like daddy with his hat on he doesn't like to leave the house without it.

I love that his hair gets this "duck butt" with his hat on now that it's long. The thing is that nicks hair does the exact same thing when it's long.

I think he's such a babe and love him to pieces. Who knows if we will leave it long or end up cutting it I guess we'll see.
