Easter is dang fun, Who knew?

We had such a great weekend! We went to the Nibley Easter egg hunt and it was so much fun! For Aiden and us!I thinks it's so cool that we are getting to that super fun stage with him where we can take him to things and he gets so excited about them! Every Holiday is so much more fun with him to get us all pumped up about it. And the weather was awesome! I can see all my yard and play outside. We have literally been outside all weekend and I have been loving every minute of it. We have been playing basket ball, going on 4-wheeler rides, working on the yard, and just playing. Honestly just being with my little family, outside, having an amazing time, I couldn't ask for more!

The best $5 I ever spent!

I bought this magnetized fish puzzle for Aiden a couple of weeks ago and man am I glad that I did! I loves it so so so much! It's so cute! The first day I bought it we came home and played with it non-stop until it was time to go to bed and he cried when he had to leave it, I told him he could play more tomorrow when he woke up. The next morning he came into my room first thing and immediately demanded to know where his fish puzzle was! It was so funny! He has been playing with it ever since....

Even now as I type he is sitting on the floor contently fishing with the best puzzle ever!

Baby girl

I just have to write a quick note about this pregnancy. It seems like it is flying bye! Already I have to go to my doctors appointments every 2 weeks! It is just such a change from when I was pregnant with Aiden and being pregnant was all I thought about! With baby girl it seems like I just don't have time to sit around and think about being preggers! Which I feel a little guilty about but happy at the same time because I just can't wait to have baby girl be here! Now all I need to do is think of a name for her, so if any one has any suggestions let me know!

"Weally White"

This week Aiden went to his very first ever Dentist appointment! I'm not going to lie, I was really nervous for him because I had no idea what was going to happen or how he would react, but I am happy to report it was awesome! For the past while Nick and I have been concerned that there was something wrong with Aidens front tooth because when he was younger he really banged his gums above his front tooth and now it has become slightly discolored. We were worried it was dead or something so we really wanted to have it checked out. I decided to take him to the ABC Pediatric Dentist in Providence. I hate the dentist and Nick loves it so I really wanted Aiden to have a good experience so that he would love it too. They were really awesome and made him feel totally comfortable. The whole office is so kid friendly, there are toys everywhere, TVs on the ceiling and bright colors all around, Aiden really liked it a lot. He laid right back on the chair and let them check out his teeth and the assistant told him his teeth were really white and he was so tickled now he runs around showing me his teeth and telling me that they are "weally white!" The good news is that the dentist said his front tooth was fine and that he doesn't even have any cavities. He said that sometimes when a child bangs his tooth it can bleed in their gums and cause the discoloration I'm just glad it's not like going to fall out! So it was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone that is thinking about taking their kid to the dentist for the first time.

A sad trip...

Aiden has had a cough for the last couple of weeks so I should have seen this coming but on Thursday we went shopping during the day and were having a great time. Around 5 we were headed back home and aiden started wining and said "Mom my ear hurts." That's when it all began. From that point on the crying never stopped. I have never seen him in so much pain and he's a tough kid. I tried and tried to get his pediatrician on the phone, because I can usually get him an appointment with a different doctor at night, but it just wasn't going to work out this time. Finally after about 3 and a half hours of straight freaking out we decided to take him to the emergency room, his very first trip ever! He hated it the whole time he just kept saying, "Come on mommy daddy, let's go. Let's go. Let's go please!" It was so so sad! They said that he had a severe middle ear infection. After a while they gave him some drugs for the pain and some antibiotics for his ear infection and sent us on our way. It actually turned out that the doctor that saw Aiden recognized Nick from church and he said he's our neighbor! He lives like three houses down from us, so that's good to know for future reference! They sent us on our way and we had a rough night but he's felling all better now, thank goodness! It was just so sad because he never complains about things hurting him until he just can't stand it anymore and of course he had to wait until after 5, isn't that how it always happens! The good thing is that he's all better now and hopefully we won't have to make anymore fun trips like that for a long, long time.

Happy Birthday Syd!

Tomorrow is Sydney's birthday but we celebrated yesterday by going to Jess's house for a party! Sydney was so cute! I can't believe how big she is getting!

Aiden has such an awesome time playing with Abby and Syd. They just laugh and chase each other around all day.

We don't make it to Jessica's house as often as we would like so when we do Aiden has a lot to explore and play with needless to say he always has a blast!

We couldn't keep him away from this hungry hungry hippo game. Maybe we should invest in one?

He looks so big riding this horse! The last time we were here he was not big enough to get on and off by himself but this time he was climbing all over it! He's growing so fast!

I love getting together as a family! I am so glad that we could make it down for such a fun day together!

Sold!

Alright, Nick and I decided that the hot tub was fun but it was a lot of maintenance for us just not using it very often. We thought let's just put it on ksl.com and if someone wants it we'll sell it and if they don't we'll keep it. It sold! So no more hot tub for us! We did take the money we got from it and purchase a camping trailer named "The Golden Falcon." No, we can not take credit for that amazing name it is the actual brand of the trailer! Awesome, I know! The reason I even started documenting this event was because when the people came to pick it up it was slightly heavier than they had anticipated. They stood around for like 20 min trying to decide what the heck they were going to do to get the hot tub on the trailer they brought. Finally they decided to drive the trailer on the snow and get it as close as possible to the tub and then just grunt it out!

They got it on the trailer and found that it would not fit inside the wheel wells, so they were going to have to tip it on its side.

Nick was really having a good time, later he told me that those guys were just being weak and it shouldn't have taken as much time and effort as it did!

In the end they got it loaded and went to take off and slightly peeled out on our lawn! Yeah that's dirt that got flipped across the whole yard. I'm sure that they realized what had happened and took off because they were gone in about 2 seconds! It's really not too bad I guess we'll see the real damage when the snow melts. But for now we have an empty slab of cement, and a trailer on the side of our house. I told nick, can you say patio furniture?

Climbing

When we were at the Ranch and getting ready to leave Aiden kept climbing this fence. At first I kept yelling at him to get down but it was too funny and I just had to take some pics. This is him on the first step........
No where to go but up right........
He made it to the next step and turned around to see if anyone was going to watching.........
Then he threw himself backward and landed flat on his back in the snow and made a snow angel! I was rolling! Seriously it's a wonder he's still in one piece! Who's kid is this?
