A conversation with 3 year old Aiden...

We were in the car,
A: Mom can I eat that snow outside?
Me: No it's cuckers (a made up word I am aware)
A: What does cuckers mean?
Me: It means yucky
A: What does yucky mean?
Me: It means gross
A: What does gross mean?
Me: Um it means not good
A: What does not good mean?
Me: It means bad
A: What does bad mean?
Me: It means you shouldn't eat it
A: What does you shouldn't eat it mean?
Me: It means cuckers
A: Oh.
The End

The randomness that is Aiden...

I got the cheese out to cut us up some slices with our crackers we were having and I got distracted for a minute, shocker I know, but when I turned back this is what I found! Apparently I was being to slow and he found his own solution to the problem. That's sanitary right?

I love the shocked look on his face, like wow, that is what cheese looks like when I take huge bites out of it! Amazing!

Aiden, my sweet little helper. He loves this old vacuum we have because it is just his size.

And a happy new year....

Nick and I had a fun New Years this year. Bridget and Casey invited us to a Frank Senatra party! We got all gussied up, which honestly was my favorite part I love dressing up and Nick even dressed up with me for like the first time EVER! I was so much fun, we met up with Casey and Bridget and had a fancy dinner at the Nonne, p.s. it was delicious! I love loved it! And then we partied all night. Well at least until Bridge and Casey let their babysitter off the hook! It was good times though! Here are some pics to prove to my mom that we looked awesome, we were the best dressed at the whole party!

The day after Christmas...

My Mom and Dad went to Jessicas for Christmas eve and Christmas this year because we were at the Wilsons. They were supposed to come back on Christmas day but because of the crazy weather they were stuck for a day so our Christmas with them was a day late but still awesome.

I actually think Aiden and KateLyn really liked spreading it out for a couple of days.
This is typical of Aiden he hardly ever leaves my dads side. Best friends forever!

Thanks G'ma and G'pa for the presents!

Introducing.............the newest member of our little family...................Bear!!! I decided to give in and get Nick a puppy for Christmas. I think he was really excited and Aiden was beyond excited. He seriously is a cutie. Although he was supposed to be a she. When I called to say I wanted a puppy I asked for a girl they said sure no problem. So when I went to pick HER up they said there you go and I took HER and didn't think twice about it until we got to my moms and SHE was running around and I was like..uh I'm no expert but that looks like a boy to me. Turns out SHE really was a HE. It's not a big deal and I called the people but we liked him so much we decided to keep him.

Merry Christmas Nick!

My sunshine.....

Hey, this is Katelyn. Just wanted you all to know that I am getting so so big, I will be 8 months old on the 12th and My mom can hardly believe it. I now have 2 teeth (on the bottom) and I am super close to crawling. Don't get me wrong I can get to wherever I want to go I just wouldn't necessarily call it crawling just yet. I love playing with my big bro but scream at him when he gets too rough. We chill on the floor and he likes to get in the tub with me too. It's good times. I am super happy as long as I am getting the attention I know I deserve. So there you go. Getting bigger all the time. And cuter too if I do say so myself.

Christmas...

Christmas morning was so much fun this year. Aiden totally got it and was all about the whole Santa thing. We actually slept by the fireplace and when we woke up Nick told Aiden that he heard Santa come down the chimney the night before and that he walked right past us while he was sleeping. His eyes were so huge and his mouth was wide open in awe. It was hilarious.

The kids all ran down the stars to check out if Santa really came.
He was so excited , look at that face, priceless.

KateLyn was a little out of it, we had to wake her up to go down and open presents.

She got a little more into it the more she woke up though.
After a little while she was playing just like the big kids.
Aiden found a special note in his stocking from Santa. It said,
"Dear Aiden, Thank you for being such a good boy this year! I brought you some presents but there was one that would not fit under the tree. Look in the garage and have a very Merry Christmas! Love, Santa." He was so excited he ran up the stairs and we went and looked in the garage to find.....
His very own 4 wheeler! Just his size and just what he asked Santa for.
What a super lucky boy.

That day it snowed way too much to go outside and play on it but the next day he went for a ride and drove it all by himself. He even took me on a special ride! What a gentlemen. And what a Merry Christmas!

Christmas eve....

On Christmas eve we started off the day snowmobiling with some friends and their kids. It was a blast and we might have to make it a new yearly tradition.

Aiden literally couldn't have had more fun.

Look how sweet KateLyn looks.

We were all laughing so hard at those sunglasses! What a babe!

That night we all slept at Patti's. We had a fun night, eating, doing the nativity scene with all the kids, and just hanging out. Then we opened jammies before bedtime. Aiden and KateLyn looked so adorable.

KateLyn and Molly are like the exact same size and they are already best friends. Molly is like 6 months older than Katelyn and can walk so it looks a little weird for them to be hanging out and then Molly just gets up and takes off walking!

All the kids looking super cute in their Christmas jammies. All so excited for the next morning and for Santa to come!
