Where to begin...

I honestly have no idea where to start. We have had a lot of things going on lately that I thought about blogging but didn't really feel up to it. Mostly because I couldn't think of how to begin talking about our everyday stuff when we feel that there is still such a void in our lives. It's like there is a presence that feels like it should still be here but isn't. But I guess we'll always feel that way.
I still don't know exactly what to say so i guess I'll just start with Halloween and maybe catch the rest up next time....

Aiden couldn't have been more excited for this day to come! He picked out his Batman costume all by himself and tried it on almost everyday until Halloween. I was so fun with him this year. Last year he got it but it took awhile. This year he couldn't wait for the day to come. After each house we trick or treated he would get so excited and squeal "Let's do another house!" Hilarious.

My favorite part was this awesome "Batman face." If you will notice he's also showing me his killer guns (muscles.) Although he must have thought he was being a little too intimidating for me because after a minute he said.......

"It's just me Aiden!"
Man I love this kid.

KateLyn, as you can already see, was an adorable kitten. Which totally works because I call her that all the time anyways and it went well with Aiden's Batman costume. I even got super creative and made that headband myself! I know it's not that awesome but I'm proud anyway!

My baby girl is getting so so BIG! Too big if you ask me. A few weeks ago when Nick left for a hunting trip she decided that she could sit up all by herself. She's also grabbing and reaching for everything! And almost immediately sticking whatever she can grab in her mouth. Lovely. She is still my angel though. I can not believe how patient and clam she is all the time. Honestly. She hardly ever cries when she gets mad or wants something she just sort of yells, it's hilarious.

We went to Tremonton for a little Halloween party at the Wilsons and all the kids, and the grown ups had a super fun time. They all looked so cute in their costumes. We ate dinner and then went trick or treating for awhile. They all got loads of candy and then we came home to a pinata! Is was a blast.

They each took a turn....

And then Josh busted that thing open with one swing!

It was a very fun Halloween, Aiden is still talking about it everyday! Can't wait until next year.

I sure do love that little kitty and batman. It was fun to have you guys here. I know what you mean about trying to get on with our everyday life. I'm having a hard time with that. I guess we don't have much choice though do we?

The pictures are ADORABLE. I've been back to your blog at least 5 times and they just keep getting cuter and cuter. Derek and I both laughed out loud at Aiden. Be strong.
